I appreciate your thoughtful comments. Allow me to respond.

There is an absolute distinction between the best person in hell and the worst person in heaven. The penalty of sin is death. If anyone has not repented of their sin, their eternity will be spent in hell. Jesus taught this repeatedly, and we find evidence of it in Revelation. Only those who put their full trust in Jesus and walk with Him in obedience to His commands will have their name written in the Book of Life and enjoy the rewards of heaven. For we all die in corruption, which is sin. But those who die in service to God will be resurrected incorruptible (free from sin) because of Jesus’ redeeming sacrifice on the cross.

I don’t know if you are Mormon, but I would encourage you to not follow this false religion. God has not given any more of His holy word since the writing of the book of Revelation. There are no living prophets or apostles anymore. One must have physically seen God, have personally witnessed Jesus’ death and resurrection, been personally commanded by Him to be either a prophet or apostle. We know God has not personally appeared to anyone in thousands of years, and I don’t believe Jesus died twice on a cross much less been resurrected twice. Therefore, the Mormon’s view there are living prophets or any other religions claiming apostles still exist is completely false.

As for whether there are different “levels” of heaven, everything I wrote is based in sound Biblical theology. I would otherwise be a hypocrite and an awful teacher if I were to claim these things are true when they are not. But I can assure you, it’s all true. I cannot say anymore that could expound on what I have already written, so I will refer you back to the article.

I am pleased to hear you are actively praying and seeking God. He says we will find Him when we seek Him with all our heart (Jeremiah 29:13). So please keep pursuing Him. I would also encourage you to find a full gospel church with knowledgeable teachers who can further answer your questions.

If you’re looking for somewhere online to find information, I recommend Dr. Charles Stanley, Francis Chan, John Piper, and David Jeremiah. There are many pastors whose teachings are off the mark (Joel Osteen is one), but these four men are very good and trustworthy.

I wish you well and pray you find salvation in our risen Lord Jesus Christ. God bless you.
